Ingredion Incorporated Manager, Continuous Improvement & Change Enablement in IL, United States

Ingredion is hiring a Manager, Continuous Improvement & Change Enablement to effectively lead work and team performance to ensure that the goals and standards of the department and the enterprise are being met. Acts as a primary organizational development liaison with other departments as it relates to organizational design, change management, and learning and development programs. Identifies ways to continuously improve learning programs and tie programs to the company's strategic goals. Works with managers and employees to identify methods of improving employee performance and closing performance gaps. Recommends training tools/formats based on best practices.

As a Manager, Continuous Improvement & Change Enablement, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading change enablement work stream in parallel with Lean transformation timeline for sites and functions

  • Providing mentorship to Human Resources Business Partners on organizational structure.

  • Leading and designing leadership assessments to prepare leadership teams for successful Lean Transformation.

  • Designing/developing training plans/curriculum.

  • Conducting job assessment of employee and position learning needs in collaboration with managers and others.

  • Participating in the development of annual education goals, objectives and budget.

  • Effectively developing, prioritizing and implementing project plans as designated by management.

  • Implementing critical metrics to frequently measure program effectiveness and utilization.

  • Building a scalable leadership assessment process to regularly resolve needs to deliver meaningful and effective learning programs to grow talent.

  • Relationship mentoring for key partners and project teams to facilitate communications.

  • Serving as a leadership coach, removing operational barriers that result in employees not achieving the operational objectives

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Willing to travel up to 50%

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business or related field required.

  • Seven (5) years in an organizational development, education, or training environment which provides the necessary skills knowledge, and abilities, with tried application in the following areas: design, change management, and employee/leadership development.

  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in organizational development required.

  • Proven ability to operationalize training standard methodologies.

  • Demonstrated expertise in forming effective relationships and team building.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation and professional speaking skills.

  • Strong social skills and ability to advise
